Moon Over the Brewery

Moon Over the Brewery is set in a drab town in Pennsylvania. Miriam , a quirky artist and waitress, spends her time painting pictures of the moon from various dreary spots in town. Her precocious daughter, Amanda, is 13, has an IQ of 160, and has a dashing, but imaginary friend named Randolph. Amanda is constantly scheming against Miriam’s attempts at romance, making withering comments to suitors, and belittling them with spontaneous intelligence tests. But Miriam’s latest boyfriend, Warren Zimmerman, is determined to beat her at her own game, and to the hearts of both Miriam and Amanda.
