Will & Grace's Leslie Jordan stars in his solo show, When You Swish Upon a Star. From the land of hat-wearing southern belles addicted to drama and painkillers comes When You Swish Upon a Star --the unbelievably true tall tales of a boy who fell out of the womb, landed in his mama's high heels, hopped a Greyhound bus for Hollywood, and has never looked back. In 1982, Leslie Jordan stepped off a Greyhound bus from the hills of Tennessee and since then has appeared in hundreds of television shows, films, and commercials. He is perhaps best-known for playing the recurring role of Beverley Leslie, the best friend and arch-nemesis of Karen (Megan Mullaly), in the hit series, Will & Grace. He has also had recurring roles on Ally McBeal, Boston Public and Reba. Mr. Jordan recently appeared in Del Shores's film adaptation of his play Sordid Lives with Olivia Newton-John, Delta Burke, and Beau Bridges. On stage, Mr. Jordan recently won the Ovation Award, the Garland Award, and the Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award for his portrayal of Preston Leroy, the aging, sodden homosexual in Del Shores's hit play Southern Baptist Sissies.
