The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Favorites

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center hosts the Mermaid Theatre’s presentation of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Favorites.
The Mermaid Theatre captures the whimsical charm of three favorite Eric Carle stories with vibrant effects, original music and innovative puppets. Closely following the books from which they are adapted, the charming vignettes teach as well as entertain with large scale puppets brought to life thought the magic of black light. The performers encourage the children who know the story to recite the words along with them, making for a truly engaging experience.

The triple-bill includes the wonderful story of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s metamorphosis, the fanciful account of “Little Cloud’s” travels through the sky and “The Mixed-Up Chameleon” and his discovery of his own unique nature.
