During Season Preview, shows and show directors will be announced followed by a staged reading of each show with performances by MET’s resident comedy troupes (The Comedy Pigs and Oh, Crit!) and MET’s FUN Company (theatre for young audiences). If you have never attended a MET show or have not experienced the full spectrum of MET’s performance opportunities, this free event will be the perfect moment to catch a glimpse into the broad spectrum of MET productions. While you are there, take the opportunity to inquire about MET’s robust educational programming that is available to people of all ages. MET’s generous donors provide funds to assist students with merit or need-based scholarships that anyone interested in taking classes or summer camps, which offer a wide range of learning opportunities spanning production development, performance, and to performance management.
Theatergoers who see or would like to see two or three shows per season from September through June will want to snag MET’s deal of the year on season subscriptions offered at this event only. Season subscriptions are the best bang for your buck, and by attending Season Preview, you will have the chance to purchase your subscription at a significantly reduced cost that is only available during that evening. The deal is not offered at any other time of the year though season subscriptions and flex passes are available for a cost savings throughout the season.
