The Graduate

Based on the novel and the movie, this is the stage adaptation of The Graduate that starred Kathleen Turner on Broadway. It has since become a popular offering in regional theatres. The play chronicles Benjamin Braddock’s search for direction in his life after college, his affair with the enigmatic Mrs. Robinson and his obsession with her daughter Elaine. It also contains many scenes not included in the Mike Nichols’ film version.
