Fiddler on the Roof

Eddie Mekka, best known for his role as Carmine on TV’s Laverne & Shirley stars in Fiddler on the Roof. Set in the small village of Anatevka in Tsarist Russia, the musical tells the story of the poor dairy farmer Tevye and his battle to preserve the traditions of his family and faith in the face of a shifting and oppressive world. Based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem in which Tevye and his wife Golde watch their daughters grow up, fall in love and move away, the musical contains songs by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, a book by Joseph Stein and is being directed at The New Mark Two by Virginia Light.
