Writing Characters For Sketch w/ Nick Armstrong [Workshop]

This two hour intensive will have students learning structure, character, re-writing skills and how to build a sketch from the ground up. Students will also learn techniques to get the juices flowing and executing a sketch from writing to performing. An alum of the Sunday Company at the Groundlings, Nick will help you write sketches that have three-dimensional characters who are original. We will also work and execute the re-writing process based on notes from Nick and put on a showcase of your work by the end of the intensive. You will come out of this intensive with more confidence in writing sketches and the and performing them. You will also have a firm grasp on how to take an idea to the finish line. You will have a show to showcase your work at the end of class.
