World Beyond

World Beyond is the second co-production of MacArthur/Myers Productions, a partnership that seeks to connect seasoned Connecticut-based dance artists who are interested in collaborative projects in alternative performance spaces. Studio on Grand, housed in the building that was formerly Frank’s hardware store,
provides a raw, urban setting that is ideal for World Beyond. In collaboration with video-artist Tara Burns and composer Kyle Olson,
Adele Myers and Dancers premieres a half evening-length dance that reveals the impact of technology on proximities of human interaction.
MacArthur Dance Project premieres a work, with original music by Bryan Senti, about a group of individuals at the center of a tragic mystery
who, though they can’t trust each other, need each other to get to the truth. Guest choreographer Lisa Race premieres a duet for Myers and
MacArthur with original music by Michael Wall.
