The Tricky Part

Long Wharf Theatre will produce a workshop presentation of Martin Moran’s new play, The Tricky Part. Moran also stars in this timely one-person drama about his own 30-year struggle with the consequences of child sexual abuse. Seth Barrish directs the play, which was recently developed at the Sundance Institute Theatre Lab in Sundance, Utah.

With disarming humor and breathtaking candor, The Tricky Part chronicles the transformation of a naïve 12-year-old boy, from life in an isolated Roman Catholic universe, into a mature gay man determined to come to terms with his past.
