Lily Tomlin

Lily Tomlin rose to national prominence with her appearances on the top-rated 1969 TV show Laugh-In, portraying characters like Ernestine, the irritable, gum-chewing, wisecracking, snorting telephone operator and Edith Ann, the bratty five-year old. Many, many successful movies, scripts, albums, Broadway and TV shows, awards and accolades later, Tomlin continues to develop her craft as one of the country’s funniest women. As Edith Ann would say, “That’s the truth! Pphllluhhh!!!”
