These fables and frolics are fun for the whole family, performed by a theatrical menagerie whose comic and clever performances provide striking, visual entertainment. Frogz is music, mime, dancing and “creature-theatre” at its best: a mysterious worm performs impossible acrobatics, an invisible cat inhabits a giant paper bag, an introverted frog challenges a bunch of athletic amphibians to a leap of faith, and a group of penguins waddle through a mad game of musical chairs.
Blending ingenious masks, outlandish costumes and astounding invention, Imago Theatre creates a living world of animation that turns the world upside down and inside out with fantastical illusions. Mesmerizing movement and finger-snapping music create an absurd carnival that provokes waves of laughter from family audiences and children of all ages.
