Eleemosynary

Jessica Posner, a senior honor student at the Denver School of the Arts, is producing Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize nominee Lee Blessing’s, Eleemosynary (pronounced “ell ee MAH sin airy”), to benefit The Spirituals Project — a non-profit organization based at the University of Denver whose mission is the preservation of the songs created by enslaved Africans in America in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Instead of its normal evening schedule, the Saturday performance on May 7 will be held at 2pm, and there will be an additional Sunday performance on May 8 at 7:30pm.
