Whether on their hometown streets in Minneapolis droppin’ beats on five-gallon paint buckets or tearin’ up a stage floor with dynamic tap rhythms, Buckets and Tap Shoes has been dazzling audiences around the world since 1997 with its high-energy mix of improvisation and rhythm. This unique troupe of musicians, percussionists and rhythm tap dancers creates intense, driving beats with five-gallon buckets, metal cans, barrels, obscure objects and tap shoes as well as mixing it up and jamming with traditional instruments, including electric guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.
