About this show

Seth Rudetsky is the daily Broadway host on Sirius/XM radio. As a comic, he won the title "Funniest Gay Male in NY" at Stand-Up NY, had a long-running show at Caroline's Comedy Club and spent two years as a comedy writer on The Rosie O'Donnell Show (three Emmy nominations). He will be featured on two episodes of the Kathy Griffin show this season. Spend an evening with Seth and his private video/audio collection and you won't believe your eyes/ears! Seth will teach the audience how to deconstruct what and why something is vocally amazing (Patti LuPone in Evita) and what and why something is a vocal travesty (Madonna singing the same material). Video highlights (lowlights?) include the short-lived Brady Bunch Variety Hour and Cher performing all of the roles in West Side Story. Seriously. Read about it here. Check out clips from the show: Deconstructing Barbra Streisand and Bea Arthur! Seth deconstructs Patti LuPone's performance as Evita at the Tonys- brilliant! Sat Oct 9th at 11am Audition Master Class with SIRIUS/XM Radio & Broadway Star Seth Rudetsky. This is a class Seth's been teaching around the country. Some of the things he addresses are: ... Get the right cut of the song you're auditioning with…stop singing the wrong 16 bars! Stop hating the song you're auditioning with. So many people have a signature song but no longer enjoy singing. Seth helps people learn to love their song. These questions are also answered: How do I end this song? What do I think about when I'm singing? Where do I look when I audition? What should I do with my body/hands? Can I sing this particular song at an audition for (fill in the blank)? Only accepting 24 participants. 80 others can watch the class as spectators for $15.00. REGISTER (Participants): // BRING SHEET MUSIC (audition songs) and something to record with! $15 for spectators - buy thru this site. $100 for participants… payable in advance…!
