About this show

A young woman faces the conflicts between the class of her father and that of her mother one evening as the spring turns to summer. In this stinging analysis of the sexuality latent in primal class society, the pretense of psychological differences is stripped away to reveal a brutal portrayal of humanity. Strindberg wrote this clash of the sexes and classes as a revolutionary call to reexamine theater. A call all too urgent today. Please note this production is performed promenade with minimal audience seating, be prepared to stand for an hour and fifteen minutes.
