Danny and the Deep Blue Sea

Written by John Patrick Shanley, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea tells the volatile tale of two strangers who wrestle with their personal and shared inner demons after meeting in a bar.
Danny and Roberta strike up a halting conversation in a rundown bar. He is his own worst enemy, faster to fight than to reach out for comfort; she is caught in a self-inflicted cycle of guilt and violence; and yet, as the night wears on, the distance between them starts to melt. They stumble from the bar to a tiny bedroom, where the possibility of a genuine and meaningful relationship begins to emerge. Brandon Galatz and Jodi Kingsley portray Danny and Roberta respectively.
