Better Late is a brand new romantic comedy written by Larry Gelbart and Craig Wright. Better Late receives its world premiere April 2008, but catch a one-night only reading before! The staged reading of Better Late is presented by Northlight Theatre as part of its Interplay works in development staged reading series.
Larry Gelbert is a prolific American comedy writer with over sixty years of credits including the musicals A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum with Stephen Sondheim and City of Angels, the television series M*A*S*H and the screenplays for Oh, God! and Tootsie starring Dustin Hoffman. Craig Wright’s plays include Grace, Lady — which have appeared at Northlight the past two seasons — as well as Orange Flower Water and The Pavillion. He was nominated for an Emmy for his work on HBO’s Six Feet Under. His new television series, Dirty Sexy Money, premiered this fall on ABC.
