Take a trip back in time to the sixties when hot Brits invaded the States! While Beatlemania was busy changing the face of music and fashion, Andrew Lloyd Webber was just getting started on transforming “The Great White Way” with Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, his first foray in a long line of beloved Broadway blockbusters. But before that, Brits were toiling tirelessly in the vineyards of classical crossover, popularizing traditional British folk music and culture. And we Yanks couldn’t get enough of it. We will be encouraging audience members during the concert to KEEP CALM AND FAKE A BRITISH ACCENT!
