Kite

KCO presents Kite, a new play written and directed by Rick Roberts, starring Marjorie Campbell and Oliver Dennis.

Marjorie Campbell and Oliver Dennis star in this avant garde comedy about two 100-year-old men who meet by chance on “the happiest day of their lives.” Complete strangers to each other, the two men soon find out that they have nothing in common, except for an extremely limited future and a profound desire for the other not to be there. They struggle – with each other, with their own rapidly declining bodies, with their still glimmering hopes – as they attempt to stave off a seemingly inevitable conclusion… and retrieve a kite from a tree.
