Beating the Bushes

Happy Trails in association with Factory Theatre presents Beating the Bushes, a free fall from the Bush family tree created and performed by Steven Bush in collaboration with director/dramaturge Richard Payne.

Ever since the bloodless coup that felled the Republic (the U.S. Mock Election of 2000), Steven Bush has been at work sifting through his ancestry to prove – or disprove – his blood ties to those bad bad Bushes in the White House. Are his very own cousins (or so the story goes) bent on seizing the entire world? A distant relation does what he can to end the madness and redeem the family name!
