A Chorus Line

A Chorus Line is staged as an audition, with dancers trying out for a part in the chorus of a forthcoming Broadway musical. Rather than have the dancers perform, Zach, the authoritative director, interrogates the seventeen finalists about their lives, dreams, fears, and fantasies. This Tony Award-winning musical was conceived by Michael Bennett, and features a book By James Kirkwood & Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Edward Kleban. Michael Rubinoff directs, with choreography by Jeanine Henderson.
