Largely political, somewhat clinical, definitely sexual, What Mama Said About ‘Down There is a lighthearted comedy that offers the lowdown on what mothers say (or don’t say) about their “nether regions” and the effect these talks (or lack thereof) have on their daughters. Armed with insight, biting wit and gentle humor, this solo show features a lively multicultural all female cast.

Writer/performer Sia Amma takes fifties-style sexual repression out for a spin and hangs it up to dry. Gloria Weinstock directs, with co-direction by David Behre.
