In The Shaker Chair, Adam Bock — whose Swimming in the Shallows was just nominated for a GLAAD award — presents a triumvirate of women, struggling to understand what he has called “the everyday acts of courage that it takes to live a life of true thoughtfulness.” The Z Space is co-producing the readings of this play with A.C.T. and the Encore Theater Company.
