About the Show
An energetic and youthful musical revue about life on the brink of change, Songs For a New World is composed by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last 5 Years, 13). A cast of four singer/actors experience adulthood, love, war, fame, success, motherhood, and death, and convey their journey through a compilation of songs, varying in styles that
include traditional ballads, pop, and R&B. The original off-Broadway production ran for
28 performances and has since become a cult classic.
