An old woman’s soul is revealed to her through the music, words and static picked up by the radio beside her. Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s “All That Fall,” a play for radio, this performance combines inkBoat’s butoh/physical theater aesthetic with the stark prose and dreamt landscapes of Samuel Beckett. Heaven’s Radio speaks to a
spiritually bankrupt time where the search for God collides with the idiom “we have no one to reckon with but ourselves.”
The production is conceived and directed by Allen Willner.
