New York City
North Bay Shakespeare presents Hamlet, that tale of love, revenge, insanity and “murder most foul.” Ken Kelleher, resident director of the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and director of Shakespeare at Stinson productions for over 10 years, directs this adaptation in a “modern film noir style with Asian influences,”
that focuses on the ghost story and tragic tale of two families. Kelleher’s Hamlet is accessible for all ages. Costumes are stylishly modern and a jazz/fusion score enhances the mood as Hamlet seeks to “do what he must do at last for the pure sake of justice…”
