About the Show

First Look is a series of workshop presentations of new plays at Zeum Theater. Scheduled to perform are:

May 26 at 8pm: Splitting Infinity by Jamie Pachino, directed by Joe Calarco
A Nobel prizewinning physicist attempts to prove the existence of God through physics, a goal that upsets the balance of her relationships with her oldest and best friend, a rabbi, and her star graduate student, the child of a Christian Scientist.

May 27 at 3pm: Luminescence Dating, written and directed by Carey Perloff
A maverick archaeologist attempts to reassemble an ancient statue of Aphrodite–while the real goddess wreaks havoc with her heart.

May 27 at 8pm: Freeport, Texas by Michael Springate, directed by Leah Gardiner
A gripping story of corporate greed centering on how the consequences and reverberations of the Cold War meet with the unregulated American energy business on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico
