X-Mas with the King

Deep Blue Sea Repertory are bringing their bold and brassy holiday show X-Mas with the King to the Insurgo Theater Movement this December. Written and directed by troupe co-founder Andrew Vonderschmitt, King tells the sordid tale of one Elvis Aaron Presley — famed King of rock and roll by day, CIA operative by night. After faking his death in 1977, Elvis went into retirement, and a grateful nation slept safely thanks to his efforts. But 27 years later, the country is once again faced with a threat so perilous that only The King can possibly hope to defeat it: radical militant lesbian feminists have kidnapped Santa Claus.
