USEDTA BE tells the story of the mysterious and unapologetic Usedta Be, a battered woman caught in limbo somewhere between life and death. USEDTA BE weaves together the story of young and very much in love couple pseudonymously named Usedta Be and Coulda Been and how they fall in love and begin a full speed ahead unhealthy relationship that results in an unexpected pregnancy and marriage. Usedta Be struggles with the frightening changes she notices in Coulda Been, afraid that one of his violent episodes will end either her life or the life of their unborn daughter. Encouraged by her best friend Two Cents and Coulda Been’s childhood friend Silent Onlooker, Usedta Be challenges herself to follow through with a plan to leave Coulda Been.
