Temple of the Goddess Hallows Eve Celebration

Temple of the Goddess and The Mythic Players present a festive evening of art and ritual theatre celebrating Hallows Eve. Dance with us and celebrate the balancing of your own shaman and warrior within. Bring musical instruments to joyfully play during the ritual.

We will cross the veil and move into the dark of winter, confronting our deepest fears, those things that prevent us from nurturing our dreams into reality. And we will seek to shed those fears. For the altar, bring a jar candle and, if you wish, a photo of an ancestor you want to honor.

This Hallows Ritual will build upon themes from our Fall Equinox celebration, “Artemis, Releasing the Green Dragon.” The goddess Artemis released the Green Dragon, the warrior that resides within each of us, to battle forces that harm the Earth and Her Children. This time the Green Dragon sends our young heroine, Maya, questing for the shaman’s path, the entrance to Ix Chel’s realm.

We honor Ix Chel – Healer, Shaman, and Medicine Woman, protector of the earth. We open our hearts to Her to remember, and evolve a way of living in kindness and respect for one another and the Great Mother, Earth.
