Play’s the Thing, The

El Portal Center for the Arts’ third presentation in this inaugural season is the classic farce The Play’s the Thing starring Hal Linden as Sandor. Originally called The Play at the Castle this P.G Wodehouse adaption of the Broadway collaborators bring their protege on a madcap visit to an Italian villa to visit his fiancee. The New York Times called it, “a barbed satire with timeless wit.perserving an era that merits remembering.”
