Over the River and Through the Woods

Joe DiPietro’s Over the River and Through the Woods follows Nick, a young Italian-American man from New Jersey who tells both sets of his grandparents about a great business promotion he received for which he will have to leave the East Coast. As the grandparents cook, conspire, and cajole him to stay, his attempts to remain a part of the Italian family provide the tensions that drive this funny and touching play.
