A multi-faceted character, George must always watch over his mentally challenged friend Lennie played by fellow actor and theatre owner Mike Rademaekers. The story follows the plight of George as he tries to protect Lennie, who does not know his own strength, and keep him out of danger, both to himself and to others. However, “the best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men,” like their hopes, go awry.
