Michael Hey

In 2015, Michael Hey received the opportunity of a lifetime—he played the pipe organ for the pope! During the late Pope Francis’ first and only visit to the US, Hey performed at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Madison Square Garden, where the pontiff, as well as millions of listeners tuning in to the livestream, could enjoy Hey’s “scintillating” and “tremendously virtuosic” (The Straits) playing. The Milwaukee native brings his exceptional talents to Los Angeles for his Walt Disney Concert Hall debut.
