New York City
Macbeth, Shakespeare’s classic tale of lust and ambition, explores the darkest depths of the human soul in an intense new production directed by Kelly Flynn. Newly named Thane of Cawdor by the grateful King Duncan in recognition of his battlefield success, Macbeth is spurred to even loftier ambitions by the prophecies of three Witches that suggest he is destined to be king himself. Egged on by the ambitious Lady Macbeth, he contemplates the unspeakable, setting in motion a murderous chain of events leading to a bloody and tragic end.
There is an added performance on Monday, April 18 at 8:00pm.
