Love Letters centers around the intersecting lives of Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner. Through a series of written correspondence, both hysterical and moving, we come to know both of them intimately – from their strict WASP upbringing, through later life political aspirations, love affairs, military service and artistic ambitions.
