In J.O.B., the Hip-Hopera, rappers Jerome Sable and Eli Batalion retell the Old Testament story of Job as an allegory of contemporary corporate life in the music business. Recited entirely in rhyme and accompanied by breakdancers, vocals, a live DJ and a score blending classical music with hip-hop, J.O.B. The Hip-Hopera is directed by multiple award-winner Stefan Novinski and choreographed by Company of Strangers artistic director Hassan Christopher.
No performance on Sunday, November 27.
