Impasto

In conjunction with the release of Robert McAtee’s new CD titled Impasto comes an evening of theater that will feature over a dozen performers. The event at a glance will look more like a black box theater experience . . . featuring some wonderful actors (including one who acted in a recent Academy Award Best Picture winner) performing the lyrics in spoken word as their own . . . before ever hearing the actual song. With complete creative freedom, encouragement and permission to go Yoko Ono/Andy Warhol or play it straight, it is sure to be a memorable night. Movement/dance, a world premiere music video, and an acoustic musical performance by Robert McAtee will highlight the evening.
