Hollywood Hell House 2007

Hollywood Hell House 2007 parodies the church sponsored Evangelical fright houses that spring up around the country during Halloween season. Hell Houses/Revelation Walks/Virtual Hell/Judgment Walks teach kids what happens if they "choose" to be gay, have premarital sex, get an abortion, or go to a rave: they will end up in hell for all eternity.

This particular form of evangelical spiritual terrorism was originally conceived by the late Jerry Falwell in the 1970’s. It was taken up by Pastor Keenan Roberts ten years ago and now by many others. Last year alone, there were over 5,000 of these "scare-you-straight" haunted houses.

Instead of using the script written by Pastor Keenan Roberts, this year’sHollywood Hell House 2007 will use a script compiled from the many different spiritual fright houses. New scenes this year include “Lesbian Slumber Party” (Find out how playing "light as a feather, stiff as a board" can lead to girl-kissing…and then death), “Witchcraft Role-Play” (Discover the ties between Harry Potter and Satan) and “Tramp’s Trap” (Explore the downside of prostitution). This year, take the spiritual journey in an abandoned Mexican chain food restaurant next to a popular strip club and tattoo parlor!
