The Orange Curtain presents Blue/Orange, written by Joe Penhall and directed by Steph N. Davis. This 2001 winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Play is riveting, provocative and taut with thought-provoking ambiguity. When an inexperienced young psychiatrist and his supervisor clash over the diagnosis and treatment of a young black patient, the result is a blisteringly funny satire of the blurry borderlines between perception and madness. This is an incendiary tale of race, madness and a Darwinian power struggle at the heart of a dying health-care system.
