Beyond Therapy tells the story of Bruce and Prudence, both in psychotherapy and both neurotic, and their search for love. The play mines big laughs from such subjects as the cult of therapy, dating, pop culture, casual sex, and relationship commitment.

Although frequently done, the play has not been seen on a local professional stage for several seasons.
