Moonlight’s final show of the season is George Bernard Shaw’s classic comedy Arms and the Man. In the delightful family household of the Petkoffs, we meet a dashing Swiss soldier who much prefers chocolate creams to bullets. During an escape from gunfire, he is hidden secretly by the clever daughter of a famous officer, and a battle of wit and comic surprises ensues. Set in 1880s Bulgaria, Arms and the Man offers audiences of all ages a literate and adventuresome evening. Brendon Fox, Associate Director of The Old Globe Theatre, directs.
