Accidental Death of An Anarchist

About the Show

A zany political farce that is equal parts Marx Brothers, Keystone Kops, commedia dell’Arte, and The Carol Burnett Show, Nobel Prize-winner Dario Fo based this biting satire on the true story of an anarchist railway worker who, in 1969, "fell" to his death from police headquarters in Milan. At the center of this hilarious romp is a comic fool who, posing as an investigator, playfully and hilariously exposes the political corruption and cover-ups surrounding the "accident." This Broadway and West End hit was a ‘succes de scandale’ when it first appeared 35 years ago, and is no less relevant today.
