A Guide to an Exhibitionist

In this installation, Collage will introduce new works of live art. With the audience listening on audio guide, live performers in an oversized frame expose the mysteries of the nude, the action of still life and the kaleidoscope of color field. An interactive "self-portrait" with microphone, camera and headset offer the audience a chance to engage their secret "self" in conversation with a wired dancer behind a projection scrim. Two tango dancers share a pedestal in an illicit dance of live sculpture. Part diorama, part display case, a plexiglass box traps a dancer held in the viewer’s gaze.
