About the Show

A Christmas Carol was first presented at South Coast Repertory during the 1980 holiday season. Adapted by Jerry Patch from Charles Dickens’ beloved tale and directed by John-David Keller, the play has become a holiday tradition for generations of Orange County residents. Hal Landon Jr., who originated the role of Ebenezer Scrooge and has appeared in every production since, returns as everyone’s favorite miser.

An American Sign Language-interpreted performance of A Christmas Carol is scheduled for Saturday, December 16 at 2:30 PM.
