Three Days of Rain

Ailanthus Theatre Co. presents Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain, featuring Stephanie Chavara, Daniel Marmion, and Nicholas Mongiardo-Cooper.

This pulitzer prize finalist brings a brother and sister and their friend together in a New York loft to discover what’s been left to them in a will. Through witty dialouge and beautiful story telling the characters reveal the pain their parents have left them with, and how their lives have been shaped by them. The second act takes us back 35 years and the same actors now portray these parents at the same age. What is discovered is misunderstanding, and that these two generations are much closer than they feel. Most importantly we discover the love hidden in the remnants of things left behind and the dreams that were fulfilled.
