Ensemble, et al. is a Brooklyn-based pseudo-classical percussion ensemble performing original works composed by Ron Tucker as well as new collaborations between members Charles Kessenich, J. Ross Marshall and Jeff Eng. Combining ensemble-driven original compositions with a modern take on classicism, the ensemble integrates a distinctive garage approach to its material. Inspired by an almost punk-rock desire to chart unknown territories, Ensemble, et al. challenges the perception of a more tradition percussion group by embracing a simple, intimate, and delicately beautiful aesthetic.
