Jeanette Raia directs Neil Simon’s classic comedy. Newlyweds Paul and Corie begin their new life together — and discover that they just might drive each other crazy. He is a lawyer seeking order in his life. She is a free-spirit bringing chaos to his life. Then there’s the new apartment she chooses for its “character,” which just might kill Paul. One has to climb six wheezing flights of stairs to get to the apartment, which has no furniture, a leaky skylight and only room for a twin bed. The bride’s mother and an aging connoisseur complete the formula for side-splitting laughs.
There is an added matinee performance on Sunday, September 17 at 2pm.
