The American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) production of Molière's Scapin, directed by and starring two-time Tony Award winner Bill Irwin, has announced a second and final extension, and will now close on October 23.

In this lively baggy-pants comedy, which Irwin previously adapted with Mark O'Donnell, the rascally title character balances his penchant for mayhem and mischief with a promise to help two pairs of wide-eyed lovers.

In addition to Irwin as Scapin, the cast includes René Augesen (Zerbinette), Randy Craig (George the Musician), Geoff Hoyle (Geronte), Omozé Idehenre (Nerine), Ben Johnson (Gendarme, Porter), Richardson Jones (Sylvestre alternate), Steven Anthony Jones (Argante), Patrick Lane (Leander), Keith Pinto (Gendarme, Porter), Keith Terry (Fred the Musician), Gregory Wallace (Octave), Ashley Wickett (Hyacinth), and Jud Williford (Sylvestre).

The creative team includes Beaver Bauer (costume designer), Randy Craig (composer), Erik Flatmo (scenic designer), Kimi Okada (movement consultant), Jake Rodriguez (sound designer), Nancy Schertler (lighting designer), and Keith Terry (percussion).
