Wakey, Wakey, a new play written and directed by Will Eno, has extended its limited world-premiere engagement at the Pershing Square Signature Center. The production will now run through March 26, beyond its originally slated March 19 closing date. Performances began February 7 in advance of a February 27 opening.

Wakey, Wakey is described as follows: "What are we here for? Is time a friend or an enemy? Do we all eventually end up in the same place, but take different routes to get there? This funny, moving, and thought-provoking new play…recognizes the importance of life's simple pleasures. (All of which might sound dreary, but there's a chance this will be a really good experience.)"

Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson (Person of Interest) and January LaVoy (Signature Plays) costar.

The creative team includes Christine Jones (scenic design), Michael Krass (costume design), David Lander (lighting design), Nevin Steinberg (sound design), and Peter Nigrini (projection design).
